I am talking about that Logitech mouse with the ball-bearing scroll wheel and the thumb wheel.
I am running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon with the compiz-fusion setup. I would like to know how well the mouse features work or if I will need to do any special setup. Ubuntu is usually pretty good with hardware, but I just want to make sure it will work.
I have newly installed Linux(Debian) and WindowsXP (sp2), now my usb drivers are not working in windows but these are working in Linux as usual. In DeviceManager it shows an exclamation mark on the “USB Root hub”.
I’m planning on trying a different OS besides Windows and I’m currently downloading Ubuntu Ultimate 1.4 because I know that it’s the only OS out there that is PC and MAC systems compatible, but it’s a direct iso image and the provider doesn’t include a read me file or something like that. I’m worried that I might never be able to install it if it asks for a cd key or something like that.
i already mounted the iso ubuntu file and now i need to know exactly step by step just what to click, what file, so that i can install the ubuntu. i have the following folders or contents, .disks, dists, doc, install, isolinux, pics, pool, preseed, cdromupgrade, md5usm, README.diskdefines, and ubuntu.
when i click install or anything else i get more iso files, how do i install ubuntu?
